How do in uninstal quicktime?

Because I cannot unminstal the old version of quick time I cannot instal ITunes 7

As far as I know iTunes 7 installs with an older QuickTime - at least I had no problem.

Anyway, in order to uninstall any program (from Windows), open ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS from the Control Panel, select QuickTime and uninstall it.

Itunes 7 installer should fix any conflicts for you. Did it fail to install because of this problem?
