Whiile I do wish this man luck on kicking his drug habit, which apparently he kicked once before, but slipped back into... i certainly will never buy one of records again. i recently learned that he stood up at a concert and asked Canadians to leave because he was appalled that Canada had not sent troops into iraq when Bush asked them.. Is he aware that Canadains are dying daily now in Afghanistan, trying to clean up the mess that Bush left behind.
Is he also aware than Canada is a peace loving country and we had no fight with Sadaam.. we did not care that Bush thought he had to go in there with a made up excuse of WMD. Canada has oil.. we did not have to start a way to find a way to get it.
So, Mr. Australia.. even tho I think you are very talented.. I am so disapointed that you would condem a whole country like that.. you are not someone who should tell others what to do or how to think... I seriously doubt there will be many Canadians in your audience ever again..

i agree with the first answer, we shouldn't be judging Keith on his opinions/views...after all, we have them, correct? everyone is entitled to their opinion whether we like it or not. also, i wouldn't buy an entertainer's music/movie etc. based on their political views... if I did, I'd probably never buy another thing! for instance, the dixie chicks - they talked smack, paid the price, but people still buy their stuff because no matter how they feel about Pres. Bush, they are still talented. also, what about all the movie stars that "hate" Pres. Bush, well, if you disagree with their views but still love their "work" would you not go see the movie? i think we have to remember freedom of speech and remember that our guys ARE the very ones over there fighting for those freedoms. just remember, Keith is, if nothing else, a very talented singer and that's the reason we buy CD's... have a great day!

But why the hostility? If you love an artist/entertainer, you love them for the work they produce. I am sure that if you knew half the stuff people do and say that is not publized you would not like them as well. So even though the man may say what he said, it doesn't take away from his songs.
