Never clean their rooms, sassy back-talking when least expected, only nice when wanting something, will drain your retirement fund, expects to be waited on, will not appreciate you and generally a pain in the rear. Any takers?

PS If you take this seriously, you have to take them!

Now, see, I've got three of the same ilk here on the old ranch. Mine, I've noticed, only clean, act civilized and don't ask for anything when they're visiting other people's homes.

Hmm...

I propose a swap. I'll take yours for just as long as it takes for them to start acting like my own, money grubbing, back-talking, lazy brood and vice versa. Then, when all five of them start acting like they own the places that they don't, we'll sucker in... I mean, we'll offer this wonderful gift to some other unsuspecting parent.

We'll film the whole thing and call it "Teen Swap" and they can play it on Monday nights right after "Wife Swap" and "SuperNanny"!

Just think of it... we can be famous, get a break from the teenagers that think of us as servants instead of parents and get the dishes done all at the same time!!!

I think this evil genius plan calls for an evil genius laugh, so I'll end with this...

MUAHAHAHA!

PS: If you take *this* seriously, we both need a nap!

No thanks, they wouldn't last 6 hours w/me. I am and have always been the disciplinarian. Even w/other peoples kids, I have seen kids out and out scream at their parents and I just can't help myself, I get blood in my eye for them and I will give them a real what for in front of everyone. No, I would for sure hurt these kids and not feel a bit bad about it.
I see shows that take kids to a mountains area and make them work and show respect or else. See I am the else.
I would send them to one of these camps and not think another thing about it.
I had one kid and he is 32 yrs old, he made it and gave me trouble too, if it were easy to do I would of had more but I saw the light before it was too late.
Sorry no taker here. lol.

one thing at a time mama they learn by what you allot. start with taking door off so you can see how they improve as you find clothes on floor remove[any thing else] if this doesn't not increase their family awareness get it down to a mattress on floor one change of clothes they can be taught to laundry that one outfit until they earn privileges the same for anything else on money no TV no radio or homework in room they can do it on table while they help with supper[ especially in a working family] they say they might hate you but it will be the best you can do for wayward teens after all ,the work is all on you to be firm in this loving way they are showing you they need you in the next step of maturity just like a babe taking steps you might take the rug [funny] from out under them but the world will pee on them also. if this don't work my outhouse needs a few visitors good luck

I have been on condition that comparable e mail verbatim some 12 months in the past from a girl i comprehend in manhattan. I at present texted her to be certain if it replaced into genuine and, ask your self, that could be a phony. So enable Stephen rot in Lagos, the place he probably is sitting in an cyber web cafe hacking genuine peoples' bills and sending that e mail to definitely everyone of their contacts. even though it would artwork a minimum of one million in a hundred,000 situations or they could arise with a sparkling rip-off. there are dissimilar scams available, many are very plausible (this one isn't).

Sounds like they take you and what you provide for them for granted. I say get them involved in volunteer work. Serve meals to the homeless, work at a teen crisis center, a nursing home, animal shelter, children's home.... any place where they can experience the real needs of other people who are hurting - there are plenty.

Perhaps they need a job so they can begin to provide for themselves - running money, clothes, movie money, video games... My parents did not have a lot of money and I had to earn my own money for things I wanted and sometimes needed. I'm really glad I had to earn my way because it taught me some really valuable lessons. I'm better for it.

If that doesn't work there is always e-bay - you can sell anything on e-bay!!!!!

Sounds like the definition of how most teenagers act. I know I was that way too. Too bad you can't just take them to the doctor to get medicine for this problem. LOL

Can I get in on this in a couple of years? Or maybe now, I could stop it before it gets worse!!! Or am I doomed? Know anyone that believes in child labor I can sell them to? LOL
