Considering that no election to date has gone my way, I will do what I usually do.
Down a barley pop, curse the system and the foolishness of my countrymen, and wait for the next one.

I already know that most of the candidates I'm voting for won't be elected. But in casting my vote the way I think is right, I'm making a statement that there ARE those of us who will vote outside the two party system.
I don't view it as "throwing my vote away" - I view it as "making a statement in the hopes that at some point an Independent candidate who can pull moderate voters from BOTH parties will emerge and give voters a choice that isn't 'the lesser of two evils'."

The press releases have already been written explaining that there was a strange delay in absentee ballots arriving, and they had to be thrown out. This followed announcements that 40% of the population is voting absentee.
Yesterday Bush announced a sudden and unexpected shift in all the polls indicating the Republicans will win.
----
Early returns look like there aren't any major surprises. The extent of the disgust of the voters may be somewhat greater than the polls indicated.
Looks like things didn't come off as planned. Thank you poll watchers.

Im already working for Libertarians running in 08.
Just keep educating the masses about our libertarian history and our libertarian forefathers.
Hopefully one day a majority will want to return to liberty instead of socialism or communism.
It may take the Constitution being totally ignored before Americans wake up.

Buck up and realize that it did not go my way, then move forward. I must respect what my fellow Americans say because that is what the elections are for, for the people to let their voice be heard.

I'm with Sway 26. I can only hope that our taxes won't go through the roof! Most of all I'm glad that I have the privilege of being able to vote without getting shot or car bombed.

Wake up in the morning and go to work as always. Start trying to find ways to cut back since my taxes most liekly will skyrocket not long after.

Just keep praying...that is what I have been doing since 2004 when I realized American arrogance on the part of this administration was so out of line with the average American.

Yell, scream, curse at the TV. Fret about it all night and maybe tomorrow.
Then keep right on working and try to decide whether to buy a house or not.

Imagine again all the people who just don't understand things, consider moving to Canada, forget about it and move on keeping a record for when I finally break down and run for office with the slogan "I can kick your candidate in the ding ding"
