How the hell can it be Kurt Angle... What has he done in 2006??? Has he even had a handful of matches in 2006. The WWE made him the face of the new ECW and the guy completely and utterley ****** that up. If your question was who is the wrestler of the last 10 years then sure, Kurt Angle is a legitimate choice but as for 2006... 2006 was the year Kurt Angle's career died.
The MVP of 2006 has to be Edge. He has been main-eventing since the very turn of the year when he won the title at New Year's Revolution. He has consistently pulled great matches out of John Cena. Hell, he even made Ric Flair look good in a ladder match. His in-ring work is among the best in the business and his mic skills are unsurpassed. This has been a big year for Edge and he has certainly rissen to the challenge. I only hope to God that he isn't completely buried by the boss' son-in-law in his current feud with DX.

I think John Cena or DX because King Booker is overrated and Rob the Truth Killings is an excellent wrestler too P.S. Samoa Joe would kill Kurt Angle

2006 was a year full of candidates for Wrestler Of The Year. My vote would have to go to CM Punk in ECW.
Here's a guy who spent years on the independent circuit doing whatever it took to succeed in this business. The best part is, through it all, he didn't turn to any of the things that so many pro-wrestlers turn to...drugs or alcohol.
He's a wrestler who made it to the top on his ability alone. For that, I have got to make him my top pick for Wrestler Of The Year.

It's a toss up cause I'm leaning towards King Booker, but that gimmick has recently just started. So I choose nobody right now i'll wait til later.

angle is awesome,booker is ok however i don't like him lately with the whole all hail king booker thing that has been going on. for me my pick is the game triple h, always impressive and the dx has really pushed his comedic side,entertainment and all round kick butt character.

Hard to say these are my canidates.
DX cause they made their return
RVD won money in the bank and the ecw and wwe title and the ic title
Jeff Hardy made his return and won the ic title
cena won the wwe title twice and has headlined so much ppv's
rey mysterio cause his dream came true at wrestlemania
edge won wwe title twice and defeated foely at wrestlemania
big show cause he has been ecw champ and tag champ and very dominate
benoit cause he's won the us title twice this year
and even helms he's held the cruiserweight title since the rumble.

I will always pick the Undertaker. He has dominated the WWE for over 11 years now and now that he and Kane are back together, he shows no signs of slowing down.

1.triple h, 2.hbk, 3.samoa joe, 4. aj styles, 5. the fallen angel chris daniels, 6.jeff hardy those are my favorite this year
