the characters on world wrestling ENTERTAINMENT are athletes who act. they may not be tom cruise but they work very hard at what they do to be entertaining. they make me laugh, and thats the whole point! :)

You know, I never thought of it that way, seriously. Movies are fake too but you never see ppl putting that down like wrestling. Thanks for a different way of looking at things.

Well, I don't like wrestling... but I don't argue against it. Yeah, it's fake, but I know that it is meant for entertainment for its fans, so its all good.
And actually, there was a time when I watched it... it was when I was a kid in the '80's, back in the days of Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant and the Bushwhackers. Ah, those were the days ^_~
Ugh, and thank goodness the wrestlers aren't Tom Cruise! That would be bad for their reputation. ^_~

I watch wrestling, but not as much as I used too. It just got a little too hokey. The Ultimate warrior bleeding green, Sargeant Slaughter being managed by an Iraqi general that just happened to have been a US citizen from day one, and I won't get into screaming women managers. Besides, what's the better bargain, a few bucks for a movie, or a days pay to go to a wrestling match ?

No I do not hate rassling because it is fake, I used to like it and knew it was theater, but when it became nationalized I started to dislike it. I know they are very good at what they do but it became glitzy and Hollywood, there used to be local heros every Saturday or Sunday on tv and I would love to watch it. Vern and Greg Gagne The Klaw, Baron von Raschke to name a few from here, you could see them in local restaurants and actually feel a connection, but now there is very little of that so that is why I dislike it.

WWE is sports entertainment, or is supposed to be sports entertainment, movies, some of them are good some of them arent, let me say i dont like both.

just like movies wrestling needs new stories. i am sick of seeing the same stories with new people the both need to come up with fresh ideas.

That is a very logically question, but you know movie are fake. Wrestlers have to sell an injury to the crowd.
