You are right they have good intentions in mind and want to make you happy. But if it is actually making you unhappy you need to tell them that you don't want to date. That you want to be alone and enjoy being single for a while. Tell them that you don't need a man to get you through this and that you have been through much worse ( like being married to your ex-husband) and got through it on your own. Also tell them that you might want time to be single cause you haven't been for so long you don't want to have to deal with a commitment when you just got out of one.

They are just trying to help but I know it can get annoying and a little crazy. Just think of every man they set you up with as a token of their love for you even if you don't really appreciate it. Good Luck!

Just tell them that although you really appreciate their concerns.....you would really like some time to be alone...no man...just to find you.....to reflect on your life and focus on the other relationships in your life..like friends and family without worrying about commitments or boundries.
Good Luck !!!!!

Tell them exactly what you told us. If they refuse to listen, start becoming a little less available when they call you.

Just say stop, your the one going on the date. They shouldnt take offense to that, all you saying is that you dont want to date, that is not up to them but is up to you. So just say stop.
