As a capatin, Dravid has good leadership and controlling skills.
As a player, I think in present context its Rahuld Dravid. Long back, it was Sachin. But now, Sachin can not stand for long time on crease as Rahul clamly does. Rahul is more better against teams like Australia and his record in abroad is best. Sachin can not do wicket keeping. The only advantage Sachin has is his balling skills which Rahul does not have.
In the end, both r important for the team

Rahul is a very good player,
but not a good captain ; same as Sachin also...
But I like as players Rahul as well as Sachin since both are the essentialities of Indian Cricket, Sachin like a typhoon and Dravid like a zephyr...

Yes Rahul is Good captain compared to Sachin Tendulkar.
Sachin is not able to cope up with the captaincy pressure.I think rahul is doing a better job of captaincy.
But the best captain ever for India is Azharuddin and next to him is Sourav ganguly.we should not forget these two great captains of India.

Rahul Dravid always had a tendency to go in to his own little shell. Sachin was more of a batsman and a team member than a leader. Saurav with all his flaws had the capability to mould a good team. But for Saurav, India wouldnt have been the well oiled machine that they are now!

Rahul Dravid has taken over captaincy only in the recent past. Give him some time before review and assessment of his captaincy.

Rahul is great player as a batsman and also as a captain. He is more consistant then sachin. He always look serious to his job.
