I'm 17 and live in Spain at the moment and I have to choose whether to go to university in England or Spain. My family is moving to the UK next year and they have told me that I can choose to stay or go. I have never lived in England so I don't really know what it is like (even though my mother is english and I'm bilingual) Can anybody give me some advice? Has anone been in this situation? If youve been to univesity in england or spain what was it like?

Try England. Studying in a different country can give you an entirely different perspective on life and the world around you. Try it for a year. If you don't like it, you can always go back to study in Spain. I lived in England for 8 years, and I'd do anything to go back. It's one of the most diverse places I've ever lived. Although Spain is beautiful & I've enjoyed visits there, England is better (in my opinion).

I would definitely go to England .. university is a very important part of life and you should do it somewhere away from home. I am from Europe, just like you, but did my uni here and absolutely loved it! it was the best time of my life (along with giving me good education) because of which I'm still here, 2 years after graduating.. with a great job and now doing a masters!
