Are family squabbles just a smaller version of World warfare?

Of course they are. The family was the first organisation in society. It developed into tribal feuding which developed into warfare and territorial boundaries.

We have not progressed very far from that, we just do things on a much larger scale.

It sure as hell feels like it sometimes.
I'll tell you this much. all "squabbles" , in house and in world boil down to one thing....

Everyone wants it
and someone else always has it.
