Very good question. And you made points backing up your statement. Closing one's eyes and 'pretending to believe that there is no problem. . . .IS THE PROBLEM

Yes, exactlly as you said, we have two seperate wars going on: the War on Terror, and the War in Iraq. The Iraq War has absolutely nothing to do with the War on Terror. There were no terrorists in Iraq. There were no Iraqis among those who commited the atrocity on 9/11. Iraq posed no threat to the United States. And, as evil, awful and horrible that Saddam Hussein's regime in Iraq was, it was stable.
We went into the Iraq War with no provocation, and no good dialogue or strategizing about what the impact of toppling an iron-fisted regime in a highly politically unstable region would do. Hence, we now have sectarian violence out the wazoo. And, might I add, folks who didn't have any real beef against the US now have a nice little excuse. So, now we're pretty well stuck there, because pulling out now, without stabilizing the region, would be disastrous.
So, this big old never-ending expensive occupation is draining both money and troops from the real danger: terrorists. It seems like we are in a more precarious position after invading Iraq.

He's incompetant, i think that summed most things up pretty well. And we are not at 'war' how can you be at war with an ideal? A war on terror should be a war of propaganda and information, if you want to go to war with guns and tanks on Islamic extremists then call it a war on Islamic extremists.
You also have a strange argument, you argue that we should let bush go to war to protect us from terrorists, then you claim there are two wars, one on terror, one in Iraq, so you only really justify (if that) the war on terror, you dont actually justify the war in Iraq which has tenuous at least links to this fictional war on 'terror'
God you people make me angry

you're patently no longer that recommended approximately what is going on on your very own u . s . a .. study somewhat greater, ask questions, do no longer settle for the lies your government tells you and that they way they control the media. this complete unlawful immigration subject is for this reason of Bush attempting to divert interest faraway from the mess in Iraq...a rustic via the way, who had no weapons of mass destruction and no ties to Al Queda. So provide up sucking up the CRAP your government is sending out and have a competent look on the information. He lied to the individuals of the U. S., He lied to Congress, he has lied approximately fairly much each and every thing related with this conflict. He has further shame on your u . s . a . and you act like people ought to love and appreciate him considering you're at conflict...a conflict he have been given you into....are you nuts?

We dislike Bush because involvement in Iraq was done for specious reasons ("That man tried to kill my daddy!").
The War of Terror would work best when it is a full World effort and Bush was too impatient to wait. We now pay the price for that arrogance

nobody does,, Bush invaded the wrong country and lost a war,, his mission was accomplished over three years ago,, but worse still he kept making mistake after mistake,, instead of Republicans demanding that Mr Bush be honest, like they did with Clinton,, they lied to protect him and his fallacies for the sake of their glorious GOP,, for that they have self destructed,, must be the will of God,, that Democrats will win the House and hopefully the Senate as well today,,, to take back America

sorry...but this was a wasted question friend. people themselves don't even know why they hate the president. they are too gullable an naive to believe they have been brainwashe by the elite in this country, and can't think for themselves.
one day bush is an evil genius, the next day he is a stupid, bible thumpin, gun slingin' cowboy, oil whore, wo can't even speak.
so when they collectively get their story straight...their credibility may slightly improve
