If an egg was fertilized, implantation (when the embryo implants to the lining of your uterus) happens, on average, about 7 days past ovulation. It can happen as early as five days past ovulation or as late as twelve days past ovulation.

Early signs of Pregnancy:

Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Frequent trips to the bathroom

These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs.
Good Luck!

swollen / tender breasts
missed period
fatigue
nausea/morning sickness (usually not in the 1st week, but could start after the 2nd week)
backache
headache

However, a lot of these symptoms can be symptoms of other conditions (some as simple & common as stress) so they are not tell-tale signs of pregnancy.

Since you normally do not ovulate till week 2.. when you find out you are preg, you are already 4-6 weeks preg since it goes by the first day of your last cycle. Confusing huh.. for me I had normal period symptoms and nothing else had changed.

I didn't have any symptoms that early and didn't realize there were any obvious changes being only 2 weeks pregnant. Geez....
There were plenty after I saw the blue!

i didn't have any symptoms that soon. i found out i was pregnant the third week cuz i missed my period. i think the 4th week i had tender breasts for, like, a day. the beginning of the second trimester was when the morning sickness started and it got really fun after that.

I cried a lot too. And I was an emotional mess. I never cry and I started to, my ex husband told me to get a pregnancy test and I found out that night. Even before I missed!

Missing your period, very difficult to tell so soon, get a pregnancy test from the pharmacy, they are very accurate these days. It's good to know as soon as possible so you can start doing your best to take care of the fetus (if there is one) immediately.Oooh, it's exciting!!
