You can use alcohol on a lint free cloth to clean it. There are actually special cleaning things they sell in the electronics places, but alcohol will work just as good.

No, don't use paper towels, anything with ammonia and alcohol.
All of these could damage your screen. You have to use a micro fiber cloth. I use http://www.pixelclean.com . Don't use windex, it has ammonia and could discolor the screen by damaging the film, or polarizer, on the LCD screen.

I was told never to put anything wet on LCD -- buy the specially made for LCD wipes at any computer store.

just use a microfiber cloth to wipe it clean. if it's really dirty, wet a cloth a little bit(just a lil bit wet) then wipe it.
