the statue is of 'little red riding hood' and was by augusta moreau. the date on it is 1850 and has 'copyright by m muller and son' on the bottom. im really interested in knowing what its worth

You could contact Sotheby's or Christies in London as they can advise on art works.
This site (below) lists a work by Augusta Moreau at $1750 - I can't say if it is the same A Moreau but it's a bit of a coincidence if it isn't.

Go to ebay and put in 'augusta moreau'. Several works should come up. Values seem to range from about $500 to $1,500.

Get valuations from your local antiques centre/shop, go to an auctioneer, or go to ebay. Have you tried googling it? Use the "image" search, not just the web search.
