Neither male nor female rabbits go "in heat." But when they reach sexual maturity, which is around 4 months, they have raging hormones. Unless you get your bunny neutered, he'll continue humping anything he can get to. You may also find that he sprays and he might lose his litter box habits.
He'll be much happier (and so will you) if you take him to a rabbit savvy vet to be neutered. Here is some information that might help:
Selecting a rabbit savvy vet: http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/vet.html
Vets: http://homepage.mac.com/mattocks/morfz/rabvets.html

both of those sites will be helpful too on why your should get your bunny neutered.

male rabbits do not go into heat and neither do female rabbits. Female rabbits are made fertile by the act of copulation. Rabbits can become pregnant at any time, they have no fertile period, thus the saying breeding like rabbits.

You are in serious need of rabbit education. Male rabbits don't go into heat. They are just always like that if they aren't neutered. I really suggest that you find a rabbit savvy vet and get him neutered. He will be much happier that way. http://www.rabbit.org

Males don't go into heat. Like male humans... they'll take it 24/7 if they think they can get it. :) The only solution is to get your bunny fixed. I fixed my male between 4-6mo (vets best guess) and he's been a perfect angel. No aggression, no humping, perfect litterbox use.

errrrr........ is this a joke question.

Male animals don't come in heat, just like male humans don't have periods.

I have a male rabbit and he is exactly the same - mounts me, and anything moving. The key to stopping this is by neutering him. I am hoping to get my Buck neutered soon.

male rabbits don't go in heat. This is a dominance issue. He thinks he's king of the hill. Getting him neutered, lowering those levels of hormones will greatly help him out, and makes him a much better pet for you. :-)

Rabbits don't try and breed at only certain times of year. It's all year round once they've reached maturity. One option you have though is to take him to the vet to be castrated. He won't have the hormones raging through him then. Talk to your vet about it.
