Possibly. Generally, your ovaries alternate each month with ovulation, so your chances of getting pregnant are decreased because of this. However, you should still be able to conceive. You may want to start keeping a journal to help you become more in tune with your body so you know which months you will ovulate on the side you have your ovary. Many women get ovulation pains, but not all. It might help to start charting your daily basal body temperatures to know which months you are ovulating. You can learn how to chart your bbt and chart for free at fertilityfriend.com. Good luck!

With having only one ovary I would buy a fertility monitor so you can know when you do ovulate. I would also talk w/ a doctor like some of the others have told you and is always a good thing to do before trying to concieve.

Yes you can and don't get discouraged. My mother had only 1/2 of an ovary total and the doctors told her she would never get pregnant. Well, she had a total of 6 pregnacies and carried 3 to term( me and my two sisters were all healthy babies). So, good luck to you!!!

Not necessarily have a problem - my mom had an tube pregnancy that destroyed one of her tubes and a cyst on the other ovary that they removed part of her ovary - and she had two kids.

Yes, you can still get pregnant with only one ovary. It just might take a while longer than expected.

You can still become pregnant; as long as that one ovary is producing eggs, you have a chance!
