Well, if the United States did not exist. Let's see, Nazi Germany and Japan would have conquered the world and exterminated or enslaved anyone not of Aryan or Japanese blood. Then they most likely would have fought each other for supremacy of the world.
Wow, not a place I would want to live, but then again my mother would have been exterminated, so I guess I would not be around.
Well, for argument's sake, let say the USSR, England, France, Poland, and China managed to defeat Germany and Japan.
Then the Soviet Union would have invaded and taken over Western Europe turning it into a massive communist state. And just as what did happen in 1948 the Communist Chinese would have defeated the Nationalist Chinese, so the world would be turned into one giant commune!
And the earlier poster is correct, there would not be a North Korea with nuclear missiles because there would not be a South Korea. Even if the Korean peninsula was divided at the end of WWII, the communist north would have invaded in 1950 and conquered it. And there would be no any problems in the middle east because Stalin would have taken it over and done to the Muslims what he did to the Jews in Russia, purge them, creating yet another massive communist state!
Then the Russians and Chinese would most likely fight it out to be the supreme communist ruler of the planet.
Wow, what a great place the world would be, no rights, no freedoms, everyone speaking German, Russian, or Chinese; and if you disagree with the government you either get sent to a gulag, a concentration camp, a reeducation camp, or just plain executed!
And this scenario is not even considering the fact that Germany may have conquered the world thirty years prior to World War II, since there would be no United States to end the deadlock of World War I. Germany started to get traction prior to the United States entering the war!
What a marvelous place the world would be without the United States!

would you rather be an experiment under Hitlers regime
or be a slave worker under Russian communist rule if you had not already been Nuked. Or even better saluting the Emperor of the rising sun every morning
America is made up of many cultures and has been populated by people from many places across the world
The world would be a very UN-safe place without America
Yes America has made some mistakes but it is still very much a young country compared to the likes of the Spain, France, Britain, Germany and Russia who have also made many good things and have let bad things happen over the centuries

No the world would not be a safer place. The existance of the U.S.A. helps the world to be safer as no other country in the west has the power that they have.

yea actully, the native americans would still be alive, iraq would have never got their guns, vietnam would have been left to fight their own war instead of america sending in its toops and killing and burnign peopel who didnt even have anything to do with the war (y do peopel who went to veitnam say they were heros all peopel did were underestimate the vietnamese and when they got the better of them they raped and kiled peopel) , but even so america has helpe din the world war they did make alot of mistakes.

If you call Muslims looking to pick a fight and calling for death of the West and on a Jihad mission to convert all Western countries by any means possible as safe, sure , why not?

Well Iraq wouldn't be a terrorist spawning disaster zone and Iran/N Korea wouldn't be going nuclear because of fear of invasion by the trigger happy Yanks.
