go to acidplanet.com the dont have popular songs but they have unknown artists and its by sony so its safe. u get all free downloads u just have to create an account and have and email address and not be afraid to get an occsasional email from them. it is also awesome because if u have a bnad u can put youre music on this site. also if u want to jsut listen to the songs, u can also. one of my favorite bands in there is submissions, and my favorite song by them is "hell"

Ares Lite was recommended to me by a couple of different techies - both said that this was one of the sites with the least amount of problems, spyware, viruses, etc. Go to ares.com and choose to install the Lite version.
