I believe that they do, especially if they were beloved family pets. I know for fact that before they reincarnate they hang around in spirit form. I think that T. S. Eliot knew a lot about this, too, especially when it came to cats. Why is the idea so violently wrong to some of you people? I am a Christian, and I believe Jesus when He asks me to bring my problems and prayers to Him, for He will answer them. If I were to want my pet back, reincarnated, and kept this in my prayers every morning and night, I have every reason to believe that at one point I will be in a place where the reincarnated pet I had lost would be, in reincarnated form. The pet would know me, and I would know it.
This has happened, not only to me, but to others, some I know, most are strangers to me. Yet when it happens that two people get kittens from the same litter that are exactly like deceased pets, and these kittens show all the same traits that the deceased cats had, even to unique markings. I think prayers are answered and pets can reincarnate.

It depends.
Dogs I've had have reincarnated, especially when I have asked for them again.

I owned a Wolf for about 10 years, and when he died he seemed to go into the moon. When I miss him and look up at the full moon, I get an immediate sense of contact and he's having a rollicking good time in the Summerlands. So who knows?

No. I believe what Sylvia Browne writes about in her books. Animals are perfect souls and don't need to reincarnate-they go straight to the other side to live a happy perfect life there. People reincarnate many times (as people, not animals). They do this to continue to learn and perfect their souls for God. If you're really interested in these things, I urge you to read her books.

I don't think anyone really knows, nor have I read anything in the bible that says where they go. However when I was growing up I was told (a childish story) that animals go to limbo (a stop-off place before you get to heaven) and they wait for their master to join them. So when you die you first go past limbo, pick up your pet(s) (and the rest of your family like stillborn or unborn children) and take them with you to heaven. Animals and unborn children have no sin so they don't have to go to purgatory first.

Can you imagine those little children playing with your pets till you come along? ............Sounds good anyway.

As far as I am concerned they do, but I cannot prove it anymore than prove that when we die we are reincarnated. I don't believe the energy of any living thing can just be destroyed, it has to go somewhere so why not recycle it.

Obviously this is my belief, but I think that since energy cannot be created or destroyed, it has to reincarnate or at least take another form. Some people think that we become trees or foliage, this could also be true under the same theory.
