The programs starting when Windows starts are listed in the Registry.
Click on Start -> Run...
Type regedit then press Enter.
On the left you can see a lot of hierarchical organized identifier. By clicking the + signs, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ MICROSOFT \ WINDOWS \ CurrentVersion \ Run
Then select (by clicking) the unwanted program on the right and press the Delete key.
Repeat this with the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE \ MICROSOFT \ WINDOWS \ CurrentVersion \ Run path as well.

Open Run > msconfig and then choose the startup tab to view all the programs that run on startup. Uncheck all the programs that you don't want and click apply and then close to optionally restart your computer.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
