I've been a patriots fan for over 10 years. And personally I wouldn't boo Vinatieri, but at the same time I understand why pats fans would boo him. The patriots are a unique team. They don't want or need big name stars. You can have your Mcnabb, T.O., Vick, or Chad Johnsons. The patriots will take your no-name players who go out there and get it done every week. We'll take Teddy Bruschi, Ben Watson, Asante Samuel, and Richard Seymour. Even Tom Brady was someone nobody had ever heard of until he got a chance to play. He was a third string QB at Michigan. The patriots want players who want to play and win, and who don't have money as a primary motivation. When a player decides that money is the most important thing and demand more money or threaten to holdout, Belichick and Craft say, "there's the door, see you later". When Vinatieri wanted to be paid more they let him go and signed a rookie to take his place. Same thing with Deion Branch. Rookie Chad Jackson is now filling in. That's why pats fans boo Vinatieri. Because the left for more money. He decided money was more important than being part of the team and being a patriot. This team attitude is why players like Junior Seau retire and then come out of retirement three days later to play one more season with the pats. Same thing with Doug Flutie. The patriots are an unorthodox team but so far it has worked. They've won 3 of the last 5 superbowls and are 6-2 so far this season so they most be doing something right.
P.S. Vinatieri is the best clutch kicker of all time and I think he'll be the first kicker to make it into the hall of fame. He deserves it.

a million) Who cares, it somewhat is his own existence 2) No, he did no longer, supply up spreading lies. 3) properly this is Randy Moss, are you extremely shocked? 4) supply up residing interior the previous, the Browns are changing, and changing rapidly. communities do no longer stay stable or undesirable continuously, seem on the Patriots. Worst franchise ever until eventually Parcells have been given there. 5) ok, yeah the Cowboys difficulty is undesirable. If I had to p.c.. one, it may be that one. 6) particular, the checklist is undesirable, in spite of the undeniable fact that it somewhat is no longer T.O.'s fault. he's putting up a occupation years. 7) in case you have no longer considered this coming, you have no longer been observing the Raider's drafts. they have some huge, good, rapid athletes. All they mandatory replaced into some coaching consistency. 8) Brady's consistently acted like a woman, so it somewhat isn't any ask your self he's calling like one now. 9) Fines are ridiculous, I agree. Your 2d stable element. 10) Vick's consistently been a experienced QB. Is all of us certainly shocked he's this stable? you're taking between the main gifted QB's interior the recreation, and supply him 'the' best QB coach interior the league in Andy Reid, and you will get a winning mixture. 11) Yeah, McNabb difficulty replaced into idiotic; lost a ton of appreciate for Shanahan there. element 3. 12) Colts and injuries. Garcon is the only beginning receiver left wholesome. His TE's and RB's are all injured....he's targetting a FULLBACK now. Manning is keen the Colts to victory, i'm surprised they have the checklist they do to be truthful. A testomony to an extremely great QB. Greatness is measured in situations of adversity, and it somewhat is Manning's preferable season.

people from the east are just like that, its accepted and common to be a dick. i used to drive an airport shuttle (cincinnati) and people from massachusettes esspecially would be surprized at how friendly everyone was. its just a different world over there
additionally to refute other statements, hes getting older and he wanted to play inside so he could have more quality years of kicking, begrudge a man for talking care of himself and his leg. are the pats traitors when they cut you, they can leave a player but how dare a player leave the patriots.
question to pats/bruins fans
would you have booed ray borque in an avalanche jersey?, he had to agree to be traded or did his years of good service mean nothing

Listen to all of you. Don't you know that we root for our team, not players. Once a player leaves, he is dead to us. We root for the uniform! And for u that is ashamed to be a Pats fan - grow a frickin spine!

I agree with you. If it wasn't for him there would be no talk about the Patriots being a dynasty team. It was so sad. But heck, I was happy that the Colts beat them.
