Okay, Now there are some funny inventions out there and some I wish I could get. Like the board stretcher, muffler belt, grease fittings on the radiator, etc. etc. What has some one told you that just puzzled your brain but you almost went along believing?

I used to tell people they needed a concrete softner to fix problems in their sidewalks.
We used to tell the new students to bring us 'left' handed wrenches.
And George Carlin made reference to a left nostral inhaler.

Headlight or turn signal fluid......and my favorite.....changing the summer air out of your tires for winter air.......
