in a hot air balloon..pack her a little picnic lunch complete with chocolate covered strawberries of course..and say oh I have one last thing in here and unwrap a ring from the bottom of the basket and get down on one knee

Wow...congrats for you. I am glad things have worked out for you. I answered one of your other questions so I am glad to see that your working it all out :)
Now to the real question, I would bring her a dozen roses or whatever her fave flower is, then get down on one knee and pop the question. Then put the ring on her finger get up and kiss your woman. Maybe you should do it in a nice restaurant or something like that. The little things mean a lot and show you care.
My husband popped the question to me at the San Diego air port...he just got out of boot camp and walked over to me in his dress blues and got down on one knee.....that melted my heart. He put my ring on and well we are still together here 8 years later.

Doing something that's special to both of you. Like if you have a special, romantic place. Just put some effort, thought, and love into the setting and details and it'll be nice.

Hm..I think a expensive or large ring isn't very important..It will be classic but you can say her while you are having a very romantic dinner (for example with music, candles, dance etc.)

It doesn't matter where or how much money you spend on the event. The thing she is going to remember most is when you drop to one knee and ask her for her hand for life! Congratulations and may you have a long, happy marriage!

Not the way my teacher's boyfriend did (now he is her husband) dressed up in mideval clothes and rode an inflatable horse into the classroom and then he was all like "my fair lady i ask thou hand in marrige" I was cracking up so hard i got in trouble

However you decide to ask her, make sure you get on one knee and ask her. Guys don't do that too much anymore. I was asked twice with ex's and niether of them did that....hmmm...maybe that's why I didn't say yes :)

Take her to the jewelry store and just be like which one you want? LOL Thats what I did and it made me happy cuz I know I got the ring I wanted.
