Illegal. It is murder plain and simple. For the people who say women would die in back allies because they couldn't go to a proper doctor then I say they need to die if they kill an innocent fetus. If they can put their baby up to be aborted then they should chance dieing. Anyone who can kill a fetus deserves death. remember slavery? People back then said that black people weren't even human. They called them animals. We know better now right? It is the same for abortion, it is murder and it is wrong. everyone knows this, they just choose to use abortion as a form of birth control and it's wrong. When we go to see our maker what excuses could you give him for abortion?
For the guy below me, there is a difference between murder and killing. We kill terrorists because we are defending ourselves. You seem to be very lost. What have babies done to deserve death? You said that we shouldn't sponsor organizations that murder then don't support liberals and abortion clinics then. Hypocrites!

If you were to make it illegal, where would the line be drawn?
Would it be illegal even if the fetus is severely malformed?
What if it is endangering the person who is pregnant?

Abortion should be legal, because we've already seen what happens when people try to put moronic morals on medical care.
Fetuses become more important than real, breathing, thinking people.

Legal and it should stay that way. Devout Christians should focus on living their own lives properly and stop forcing others to live the way they do.

This does not mean I think abortion is a Good Thing. I don't. But it's too personal a decision for the mother for anyone else to interfere with.

Those who say it's "murder" are hypocrites. If we allow the death penalty, and if we say some wars are permissible, than how can we object to abortion as murder? If we truly believe that all human life is sacred, aren't we obligated to abolish government-sponsored killings as well? And aren't we morally obligated to resist all wars and be pacifists?

Alllll the feminists and liberals out there say "oh, but I want to control my own body and baby's aren't really alive until they are born or until the fetus becomes bigger in a few months." First of all the "it's my body" argument is pure selfishness at its core and is an escape from a god given consequence of a decision that she made (with the exception of rape). Secondly I don't want to hear that bullshitt about where you think life begins, bich, if your pregnant life has begun! The thing is growing isn't it!??! Last time I checked in order to grow something has to be alive

Legal, because a person should have the right to do with their body what ever they want no matter what other people think about it. That is what this country was founded on. Freedom, freedom from what others want to impose on you, freedom to choose. You could be pro-choice but personally not want to ever get an abortion because you personally don't think it is right, but on the other hand realize why should your personal views be used to decide it for another person.

It depends. I think it should be legal in certain cases, for instance. People who get knocked up and decide they just don't want a baby, that's not right. They just can't take a life like that. However, if it's a teenager or someone who's not prepared for this, or if the baby is having problems, maybe make an exception. However, I'm not a fan of it. If you really don't want the child, just put it up for adoption.

Legal. The government should have no say in what a person wants to do to his or her body.

legal. So women don't die in back alleys doing it anyways. That is why it is legal. And it always was legal, by the way. Even when the constitution was written.

LEGAL. As long as the federal and state defination of a person is one that is birthed and takes a breath then it does not count as killing a person. Also no one should be able to take away a woman's right to her own bodily functions as well as disturb them in such a private act. Forced pregnancies are worse than allowing people to chose for themselves. If you're old enough to get pregnant then you're old enough to chose what is right for yourself and your future.
