When i plug my USB storage device PC hangs and i have restart it.And when i plug my USB mouse & Digicam it shows ur device is mulfunctioning, is there problem with my mother board but every thing in mother board is working properly.All 8 USB ports r Dead

It sounds like your USB ports got blown out. Go to Control Panel,System, Hardware, Device Manager, scroll down to bottom and see if they are malfunctioning there. Check them all. If you can find even one working you can go buy a hub and save yourself a bunch of repair money.

Sound like you might have a USB driver issue. I would try updating the drivers for your USB ports. If those do not work.. you can just buy a pci card with 4 ports 2.0 USB. remember to disable you onboard USB if you do that option.

make sure that usb is enabled in the bios
