He has been charged with sexual misconduct, for assulting my adult daughter, but there are many more women that he has assulted. He gave them a discount ont their guttering work, and they have let him put a camera in their window so he can be sure I am not bothering anything of his. This is another form of his harrassing us. We run a small shop, and have a small room for adult novelties, and the church accused us of not belonging in a small town like ours. They were rude and crude to us, but they do not know about this neighbor. He hasn't been convicted yet, but I have a list of names that I talked to personally that he has assulted sexually. Our prosecutor doesn't seem to want to prosecute on the other complaints that have been filed. If he had, this wouldn't have happened to my daughter. This man has even raped. If I send this letter to the church, am I opening up myself to a law suit?

These pervs love to hide in the church. They have easy access to trusting adults and kids, usually people that are ashamed to report things when they do happen.
But since you have the adult novelties shop yourself, you don't have a lot of credibility, by your own admission, with these people.
There was a molester in our community, who married the local horse ranch owner, deacon in the church, and so forth. He also had a record stretching back years for crimes against women. When he almost ruined the life of an adult woman, she fought back. But it was also in a tight-knit community, where she didn't participate, and she had to go through a male friend at the church who was extremely protective of his young daughter. It doesn't take long for word to spread.
She also contacted the Justice Coalition, in the county the guy lived in (he went to church in another county where his rep wasn't known), which is a local organization that publishes a small newspaper with Wanted photos, sex offender and sex predator photos, and ongoing news. The JC people have all lost family members or been victims of violent crimes, and they don't play. Perhaps you have someone you could speak to about that.
I wouldn't put ANYthing in writing, tho. Stick to conversations, and I think you can walk the line regarding slander, if you are just expressing concern about little girls in the neighborhood and at church, based on your own daughter with a pending case. You're entitled to an opinion, but you don't want to antagonize the people you are trying to protect.
Good luck to you. Sexual predators are the lowest of the low, even in prison. Hope you get to send this guy where HE can find out what it is to be a victim.

well seeing as he's supposedly "innocent untill proven guilty", then I'd say yes, you are opening yourself up to a definate slander lawsuit (if he'a the type to do something like that, and if he can afford it) I'd say the very best thing you can do is do to there people who have complaints about his sexual mis-conduct, and tell them the only way this is going to stop is if they all decide to go against him, and decide to start lawsuits of thier own, seing as they are the ones with the serious complaint. I know it hurts you that they treet ou so differently just because of a few "novelties", but unfortunitly this perv has rights.....hmmmm a pervert having the same rights as the rest of us.....????? ANYWAY...yeah just go about it the right way, and may justice be served!!

if you do not have actual proof in writing you could be open for a law suit for defamation of character. you say this person has raped someone in the past, you need to get record of this. have you been on the sexual predator list for your home town and seen if he is on it? you should do that also just google it. good luck

regrettably there have been quite a few sexual predators chemically castrated. this does not provide up the urge. The urge does no longer come out of your groin. It comes from hormones. all of us have them. i understand men say women folk do yet so do men. once you do what you have stated or maybe do it any opposite direction via slicing it off all you do is reason this animal to apply in spite of according to risk obtainable to commit their vile act. medical doctors are gaining knowledge of this around the rustic and in different countries. the terrific we are able to do is lock them up or my well-liked is purely shoot them. Then we don't ought to handle looking after them. of direction you have hundreds available that are going to permit you already know i'm somewhat blunt and that we are able to "rehabilitate" those people. don't think it.

You would be opening yourself up to a law suit. Without a conviction against him and some record to back up the claims you make the law is on his side.

You can let the church know they MAY BE supporting a sexual predator. That's it.
