The equation is this:

__ C12H22O11 + __ O2 --> __ CO2 + __ H2O

For combustion equations, you always set the coefficient for the compound being burned as 1 (you don't need to write out the one, if it's not listed, it's 1, so I'm putting it in parenthesis):

(1) C12H22O11 + __ O2 --> __ CO2 + __ H2O

So, the C12H22O11 will give up 12 carbon atoms, 22 hydrogens and 11 oxygens.

That means that the coeffiecient for CO2 is 12 (12 carbons) and the coefficient for H2O is 11 (11 * 2 = 22 hydrogens):

C12H22O11 + __ O2 --> 12 CO2 + 11 H2O

All that's left is to balance the oxygen: there's 11 on the left and 24 + 11 on the right. That means that you need 24 more on the left, so the coefficient for O2 is 12 (12 * 2 = 24 oxygens):

C12H22O11 + 12 O2 --> 12 CO2 + 11 H2O

That means that a and b are true, c is false, d is true, e is true and f is true (5.0 * 1 (coefficient of C12H22O11) / 12 (coefficient of oxygen) = 0.417)

Without even thinking hard, I can confirm that A, B, D, and E are all true.

C is definitely false -- the coefficient for water is 11

F is true -- 5/12 = 0.4167

The chem. equation is as follows:

C12H22O11 + 12O2 --> 12CO2 + 11H2O

So (a), (b), (d) and (e) are true. (c) is false. Now about (f):

12 mol of O2 reacts with 1 mol of C12H22O11
5 mol of O2 reacts with 5/12 = 0.417 mol of C12H22O11

so (f) is also true
