Both are good horror films but I'd recommend Saw over Hostel. They're both quite similar in the type of horror. You can't really go wrong with either.

how about HARD CANDY.
A smart and charming teenage girl, Hayley, probably shouldn't be going to a local coffee shop to meet Jeff, a 30 something fashion photographer she met on the internet. i was going to suggest "hedwig and the angry inch" until i saw that you were looking for scary. it's not scary, but it's really good just the same, so i think i'll recommend it anyway. : ) as long as you're the open-minded sort and can handle some gender-bending. if you're the "kill all the fags!" type, then skip it. whatever you pick, i hope you like it. there's nothing worse than paying to see a crummy movie, is there?

watch running scared with paul walker such a great film, reminds me a bit of reservior dogs, it not quite like saw or hostel, but hostels crap and this film is GREAT - well worth watching!
But if you want that type of genre watch silent hill - creepy!

Both are good and The Hills Have Eyes is very scary to and very graphic.
