so democrats think its moral to take other people's money (usually the rich) and give it to other people (usually the poor). what is moral about stealing?

Until you actually talk to all of us (liberals, democrats) maybe generalizing is a bad idea. I do not believe I am in any way surperior to you or anyone else. In fact, I support an end to the immature divisiveness that is permeating our society at this time. Sadly that divisiveness is being evcouraged, and preached by our President. The people I have the most problem with are those (of any party) that attempt to ram their ideas into law over the objection of millions of citizens. We have to hear and consider ideas from all sides of the political spectrum.

Can anyone understand? This divisiveness is killing our country.

Well, because Republicans have put in power and kept in power people who have been exposed in mulitple instances of government corruption and law-breaking, and have supported policies which have led to the destruction of another country and the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, whilst alienating other countries to the point that they have become nuclear-weapons capable in response to the perceived threat from us, and allowing the man directly responsible for a devasating direct attack on our country to go free.

People who support such things pretty much have to be inherently flawed, morally. So it's almost a given that those who don't feel just a bit--well, superior. As well as horrified, angry, and sick at heart.

perhaps it's because when Republicans voted their Cowboy of God into the Whitehouse it was supposedly in order to bring a more moral and compassionate leader into power. 6 years later America's reputation is in the toilet, the Constitution is in tatters, based on misrepresented data we preemptively invaded a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 and now we're bogged down in an an incredibly expensive occupation, there has been scandal after scandal after scandal coming out of the Republican run government. sooo maybe Democrats are feeling a little morally high handed because the Republican leadership has turned out to be so obviously hypocritical. Republicans cheered as they impeached the President of The United States of America over lying about personal indiscretion but apparently have no problem with being misled into war, inattention to warnings of Osama attacking the USA, pedophiles in Congress, torture in US prisons, the destruction of the Constitution and rule of law, the outing of a CIA operative, "free speech" zones, warrentless surveillance, over use of signing statements, etc etc. how strange. how sad.

PS. i feel it's entirely moral to feed, clothe and house the poor.
and tho you may believe that a zygote, cluster of cells, is a "baby" other folks do not. it's not your right to foist your emotionally based religious dogma on those who do not share it.
how strange that you're so concerned about the unborn but feel it's "stealing" if when that baby is born it's born into poverty and you have to help pay to feed it. that's some morals ya got there.

lol. socialize medicare. yeah, that'll work.
the federal government's got it's hands in too many cookie jars as it is. The should only take care of federal matters and leave everything else up to the states. It's one of the biggest problems this country faces right now, and no one seems to realize it.

Why do republicans think they're better because they tell other people what to do with their bodies, who they can have sex with, whether or not to have a baby...etc? We all have our high horses. I think universal health care is a good idea. I believe all other industrialized nations have it, and rejecting the idea out of hand is stupid.

Maybe your just taking it that way. I don't know, I could say that reps think that they are. When they say I'm a murderer cause I'm pro-choice. Wouldn't actually have one but if it makes you feel morally superior to call me a murderer, well whatever..

BTW- Ask Jesus why that would be moral,(spreading the wealth) he constantly preached it. And I don't quite disagree with you about abortion. I wouldn't have one, I do respect peoples ability to make their own decisions though..

Because most republicans are uneducated, ignorant, racist, xenophobic, overly religious goober rednecks that have never been outside their pathetic little towns. It's hard to respect people who barely graduated highschool and can't even think for themselves.

The sad thing is...they really think they are better. They think they are doing such a great thing by fixing some small problems in this world, while they are taking tax dollars to do it. I don't think they realize this because they have never had to worry about taxes. VOTE REPUBLICAN

Who, and where, are these Democrats you speak of? I, and everyone else who has the ability to think and reason, believe you are lying. Therefore, your question is entirely specious.
