Please tell me how you juggle everything....children, housecleaning, lots and lots of laundry....and the feeling others give you of worthlessness since you're not working outside the home.

You have the hardest job in the world! So don't let anyone tell you, you are worthless! Start a routine make a list what has to be done and break it up into small chores. Make the bed first thing. It takes two minutes. Get rid of extra clothing so there isn't that much to wash. Wash 1 to 2 loads a day, the moment it comes out of the dryer fold it, and then put it away. If this is too much, start with small loads. They are smaller but you feel like you have something done. Get rid of clutter, donate it. Get rid of things you don't use. Clean the kitchen after every meal. Get clear plastic tubs for toys, games, etc. Make a day for dusting and get some of the great time saving devices they have now. Like disposable toilet clean brush, swifter, etc. Get a crock pot to make a dinner all you have to do is throw it in let it cook or a indoor grill, dinners take 10 to 20 minutes on this great item.

Spend time with your kids, the laundry and house work can wait. Children grow up and will remember all the good times together. Believe me, kids don't really care if the house is spot free.
Worthless?! Who says a person has to work outside the home to be considered a value? The next time someone makes you feel like that tell them to manage everything them self and then kick them in the ###.

I don't consider myself a supermom but my advice to you would be take care of yourself. Make sure you have an hour to yourself everyday so you can breathe. You are not worthless and you should not let others get to you like that. Its hard work staying at home taking care of children and keeping house. Don't try to tackle everything all at once, sit down and make a to do list. Do one thing at a time, if you are focused on one job/chore you would be surprised at how much faster and sufficiently it can get accomplished. When you do to many things at once you feel like a scatterbrain and you stress out (not worth it). When you are taking your break start a journal just jot your thoughts on paper you would be surprised at what a relief it can be to let some things out even if no one is listening. During that hour u can do anything u want to just make sure its for YOU!!!

I have an ill 17 year old daughter that I spend countless hours with at doctors. Along with that I have 9 year old son that is in gifted and talented classes with tons of homework daily. I have a hubby that works between 50 to 82 hours a week. I clean,... I cook,....etc. I do it all. I don't feel worthless because I am not working at the time. I feel I have a pretty busy job with all of this. However I have worked construction, office, etc. And to say I felt better about myself would be untrue,....as I felt I was failing as a parent not being able to be there for them constantly.

Here's the thing: Supermoms don't exist. Sh, they won't like hearing that, it makes them go into extended hours of monologue of when I was young, or I go to work everyday and breastfeed at the same time and fulfill myself as a human being but you poor soul are...
Anyone who puts you down is trying real hard to make themselves look better. Love your people, love yourself, be happy.

You have no reason to feel worthless since you are working, just not outside the home. Anyone who says your not has never had to do what you do and doesnt understand. Therefore, thier input is useless.
