can anyone give me any advice. recently i lost a best friend she didnt die but she moved very far away i cant ever seem to be able to contact her and when i think im just starting to realise shes gone ill get asimple text from her opening old wounds can anyone help me plz

My best friend lives 8 hours away from me. We don't get to talk as much as we use too and we don't get to visit as often as we would both like, but she and I will always have our memories and each other no matter what. Don't let the space ruin a true friendship.

I have had the same thing happen to me with my best friend. It went on for 4 years. I was so upset and decided to stop all contact with her as she wasn't a friend at all and that she only wanted me if she was upset. I changed my mobile number and she never bothered me again, she didn't even call my home number which i never changed. I still think about her but not as much as i did. You can get more friends and it does get better.

Either decide to cut all ties or tell her you would like to hear from her more. If that's not possible then you know that cutting ties is the best way. It can be hard, it will be, but sometimes its the best way to go if she can't spend the time to communicate with you. Its up to you to make the next move but at least you can tell her how you feel and what you would like, whether its possible or not.

i lost my best friend and her bro (who was my bf) they moved to the other side of the world!
we cnt exactly hhelp u with this but just stay calm and hope 4 the best, soon u wont miss them as much, i missed them terribly 4 about a year but now i'm alright just remember that, that
someone close to u is thinking about you...

Well, if you get a text from her then you know her phone number.. so can't believe you are unable to contact her.
Sounds like there were problems between you two so I suggest you let it go, PERIOD. Study harder, go to the library, the gym, take dance lessons. LET IT GO.

I'm sorry to hear that! ask her to stay in touch with you, even visit if poss! I lost a friend she was murdered and i sunk in to deep depression as i couldn't get my head round it, she was stabbed and run over!
