Old school punk is the best....bands like The Damned, The Ramones, The Buzzcocks, etc!!!!

Punk rock is great. Well, good punk rock is great. As far as it being the best music...it all depends. Punk serves its purpose, just like other genres. Good punk bands like Dead Kennedys, The Clash, NOFX make people think. But only people who want to think. People who don't want to think don't appreciate punk rock, or at least "real" punk rock.

depends what you consider punk... i like rock but am not really a big fan of "punk emo" music...

punk is pretty over rated. from the sex pistols up to the poser bands like good charlotte, it doesn't offer very much.
