I've tried its infra-red link with a package my husband got for the computer - it seems like it is waiting for a 'start' command, but neither phone nor PC have it.

I've tried using a data cable, but although that seems to be working, no data is transferred e.g. my address book on the PC is blank.

I've tried to send picture messages but they aren't received by anyone. I've tried to receive picture messages but they are received as text.

I've used the T-mobile web site to get a text sent to me to set up the phone - and when I tried this manually with the T-mobile people (since it isn't originally a T-mobile phone) the set up went ok but I still didn't get any picture messages arriving.

Do I have to resign myself to just not being able to get pictures and videos off my phone? Please say no!
