What do you think? Faith Hill could be the next Dixie Chicks?
Banned from radio stations and not to play her music, lose her reputations and lessen her fans and followers. l'm afraid for her, this could be her worst nightmare. Controversy will eat her now.

This is getting to be quite the big deal, is it not?

I love Faith's music. I have from the get go. I also feel that her loyal following will be there no matter what. She is still an amazing artist and what happened, joke or not doesn't lessen her talent.

Now, having said that, I also feel that this is something that Faith herself needs to address, not one of her representatives. I think if she steps up and tells it like it is, all will be ok.

I posted a question regarding this as well. A couple of years back at the CMAs Tim McGraw was nominated as well as Faith for Artist fo the Year...the camera was on her and him, and she was backstage the same as she was last night...when Tim McGraw won..she did the same thing...KIDDING AROUND...to the camera like acted all OMG! How could this happen...Diva - like...she was kidding around...but, only true country fans..that know about that kinda stuff would realise that. I met her in Banff, Alberta last year...there were no camera, no media she was on vacation...she was in a grocery store with her daughter..no make up, no fancy clothes just jeans and a bandana in her hair...no crowd of people around her...she still looked gorgeous and was very classy and kinda...seemed very sincere...she dealt really sincerely with our pathetic selves being so excited to bump into her buying milk! No reason for her to act like that...and not only take a pic with us but stand there and talk to us while her little daughter was trying to get her to leave...she seemed to have a sincere sense of humour...joking about how cold it was in Canada even in July...I'm pretty sure it was just a joke...what's wrong with people GOD! lol

I don't think it will be that bad, but is sure wasn't a smart thing to do. Now, I think she is just doing damge control, because all of a sudden there is an article on CNN.com saying she was just joking.
I don't believe her. If she was joking, maybe she shouldn't have stormed off. That to me says it all......

dang, i just saw her reaction. it did look crazy. i mean i was thinking the same thing, and i don't blame her for thinking it but she did look crazy when she screamed and made that face! yea, i think this may harm her a little, but not too much.
