We have a tat on Nikki's back... on the scary mind wipe guy's necklace... on the painting of Nikki. Does it only show up with the other takes over? and elsewhere...
Any guesses and thought on what it is and why it is significant? My guess... DNA strand
side question: Does anyone else think the true "big bad" for the season is not Claire's dad, but Syler?

Peter Petrelli's power is the ability to mimic. He can mimic anyone who has powers.

Claire's dad... working for Linderman? Or possibly being Syler?... Time will answer that question. Nikki must have been captured before.

The fidelio symbol seems to mark the supers. I think it may have something to do with outerspace. i think this all has something to do with outerspace. An eclipse is coming and when the planets allign in that certain order I think all of the supers will receive a big boost in power. Now it could be that the people are being marked to keep track of them or not. It is hard to tell at this moment It makes sense however. But, I think it realtes to a signal that some minds can pick up on and others can not and that siganl manifests special powers in the brain. Genetic in part but not necessarily in the whole.
As for Sylar, I think he could be the doctor. He is supposed to be dead but then again you never saw him die and those could have been anybodies ashes in that urn. Obviously Eden was sent to keep an eye on his son and try and find out what all he learned. My thought is that the government, in particular the military, is looking for the doctor who is probably a super himself. I think the second lab was his way to protect his secrets but now they have those. No telling if he is good or bad yet.
As for the murders, I think those are all Linderman. He seems to have his finger in everybody's pie. He may be killing people to try and frame the doctor or at least force him out of hiding. I heard the guy last night talk about talking to the doctor. He didn't specify which doctor he was referring to. Perhaps the doctor is visiting the supers to tell them what is up and Linderman is killing them to prevent the doctor from foiling his plans for world domination.
I am thinking Claire's supposed father is in the military, maybe NSA, or maybe another program like the military. I think that because Eden seeme to be carying a military issue automatic. I think he and his team are tracking, testing and retarding the supers so that they don't reach their powers too soon. Claire and I think her brother are both kidnapped. They are more than likely true siblings, both blonde living with a red head and a brunette, doesn't make sense. It is more likely that her powers are crutial to any thought of using supers as a weapon. Afterall she can't be killed and if she gets more powerful she may be like Nikki a defensive weapon. I think his friend has been blocking her signal constantly to keep her from advancing.
Another thought is that Sylar is an anagram for Satellite Yielded Lunar Activated Receptors. If I am right and this is all related to a signal then the signal is being intensified in and around the New York area where all the supers are gathering. I would think a satelite is involved. When the eclipse happens in that area all sun spots and solar interference should be absent ant the signal will be at maximum strength giving each respondent his/her full share of their powers. The fun will be in learning who started all this and what it is for. Right now it looks like a cross between, Threshhold, Xmen and Highlander as to where they are going with this show.

not really sure on the tats issue . i guarantee the big bad is syler and not claire's dad. Has anybody else had a theory like me that maybe this was an expiriment on pregnant women that went wrong and they all came out with powers like this? And that the older suresh is the one who conducted the expieriments and then wanted out and that is why he got killed? I agree sylar is the big bad as you say. I think we might all be missing the point here. good luck and god bless and happy thanksgiving.

We also saw a tatoo on Matt's shoulder that he looked at inquisitively in the mirror. Like he'd either never seen it before or he's trying to figure out where it came from. I think he didn't have it until he was captured! I think this is a way for the bad guys to track the heroes they are using as pawns (in some way). I think Nikki being out of control is all part of their plan (somehow), therefore I think she had been captured before (notice that the creepy government guy said to take Nathan but leave her, like he had no interest, yet he needed to specify which of the superpowered ones to take). I think it's some kind of branding/tracking system and anyone who has one is being used by the government without them knowing it.

It also showed up floating the pool where Syler murdered the little girl's family. Yes, I think is has something to do with a DNA strand. Who says Claire's dad isnt Syler?

Did anyone else notice that Nikki only has the tatoo when she's evil??
I thought that Claire's dad might be Sylar as well as Peter using whoevers powers that he's near.

Im starting to question how bad the dad really is..... I think he maybe similar to Magneto of Xmen who is Pro (mutant/hero) but still bad. And sylar is like the completely evil type guy.
(or they can be one in the same, time will tell)
So do we know what the younger petrelli's power is yet? i dont think he can fly or paint the future per say..... but i do believe he some how is able to use the power of anyone he is near.
hense when hes near his brother he can fly,
when he was near isaac he can paint the future......
any opinions?

I thought Claire's dad was going to be the lead villian, but he loves his daughter more than anything else in the world (even if he paid off that couple to pretend to be her parents). At first I thought he was Linderman, but in the episode "Hiro's," it seemed he was one of Linderman's henchmen.
What do you think?

Hiro is the perfect manga hero. he's the primary guy given dazzling powers. He learns to apply theory a fabulous style of trial and blunder. i admire this plot line. as quickly as I observed the preview with him in eastern cube farm putting the clock returned I knew this grew to become right into a prepare to observe. i prefer to be his pal. prefer to this element him. So lovable and in genuine existence he speaks suitable English.

all I really know is that Heroes is my new favorite show.
Smallville has been replaced in my book.
jajaja
I just only hope that they dont run out of ideas and make it dumb, and also hope that they dont make EVERYBODY a hero. Make them special in their own ways.
Go Heroes!!!
