Never had lots of money. But I think that people that are very rich easily forget that other people also have feelingsand desires. F.S. Fizgerald thought that rich people are very different from us. They are a kind of aliens. They think, feel, act and live differently. Money is a great evil but we cannot help without them. It is a really difficult and interesting question. Thank you for asking it. Everybody should think it over. NO JOKE
P.S.
Sometimes I feel this racism too. I'm not very rich and I often contact with people that are much rich richer than me. It is hard

Because there is only so much room at the top, and many of the people who are there now are not the ones who really belong there. Others, who have more ability for leadership and more brains for business, are kept down because the currently rich do not wish to be replaced.

There is a natural hierarchy of people. Some are better than others because they were just born with more of the right stuff. However, money is an exosomatic, and hence artificial, index of quality. It depends on there being something available on the market, which money can buy, and which nearly everyone needs to have. That something is usually energy, in one form or another.

Because even a small bulldozer can move more dirt than many strong human diggers can, it appears that the rich man who can buy bulldozers and hire bulldozer drivers is a more powerful digger than many strong (but poor) men combined. But this is an illusion. The rich man's quality is not a part of him; it's only an external property that is his by law and whose value is enforced by law.

Two things can happen to destroy the value of money. First, the government can change the currency (or be changed by revolution, with the new government not recognizing the currency).

Second, the commodity that has been anchoring money's value in the real world can become scarce or extinct. In either case, the truth stands revealed: the "strength" of the rich man is an illusion, a game, and money "works" only because lots of people have been duped or intimidated into obeying the bankers' rules.

The real human quality is biological quality, the kind that can be inherited, the kind that is cultivated by wise marriages.

Biological quality has not been made completely irrelevant to success in the world, but it has been relegated to a minor role while money has been given the starring role. The possession of money is a decisive advantage in the pursuit of more money; it outweighs all virtues intrinsic to the competing organisms.

That's unfortunate for a very simple reason. Natural selection has been moved away from the genes and into the banks. As bank balances grow, the genetic quality of the human breed dwindles. And it looks as if things will continue along these lines until money can no longer buy exosomatic energy.

no, because money could be used for a good cause. but if it was for a bad cause it could make people arrogant, and that divides people

It's insecurity that leads to avarice and this is the root of all reprehensible behaviour on earth.
