I have it. I love it. I had no pain getting mine. I have no PMS or painful heavy periods anymore. It was well worth it.

Mirena is not a pill. It is an IUD that is placed inside your body. The procedure itself was a little painful and I was cramping for a little while after I left the gyn office. I have had no bleeding and no PMS symptoms since I had the procedure in March. I can't tell how effective it is at birth control since I haven't had it for very long. I haven't gotten pg yet but that might have something to do with the fact that I'm not "active."

I've never heard of it. Be careful with all these new birth controls. It seems they all end up in law suits. You don't want to get sick.

If I were you, I wouldn't get it. It sounds great, but things can go wrong. This is just my opinion but. My friend had one and she loved it for 4 months, her periods were shortened and she just felt better, but 4 months after she got a VERY bad infection from it and it effected her kidney. That's just my advice :)

Nothing... those pills...you don't need them!
Take good care when you'll want to have a child you'll have problems.
it's not ok to take birth control pills!
Please, think!
Why do you have to do that?
May the LIGHT help you understand!
