Competitive strategies for what? Please add details.

No matter what you do, in order to succeed, you have to be competitive, that is, you must try to be better than others (or the best of all). Some strategies that never fail are the following:
1. Always do your best;
2. never be late;
3. try not to fall behind schedule;
4. don´t complain too much and don´t be afraid of challenging ideas;
5. be honest;
6. be fair to your colleagues;
7. be creative;
8. try to be well-informed;
9. try to come up with new ideas;
10. a little sense of humor always helps too.
