Isn't that something? Government was suppose to be the servant of the people! But ironically, government has gotten to a stage where people can barely express opinions!

VERY! Especially under the Bush regime. Watch what you say or do, in this country even the mother of a fallen soldier can't wear a t-shirt without being arrested. Our vice prez can shoot someone in the face and not even get a slap on the wrist (any of us would have been jailed or at least fined for not having the proper license). Our own president lies to us and kills our troops! Yes, I am very afraid, this is no longer a democracy, it is a Theocracy.

Knowing our bunch in Ireland like I do, I fear any stupid law brought in by the British are American government because sooner are later, most likely after the next election there it will be. In all its aspects, half expect some version of Bush's 'Patriot act' brought in next October. If mad dog McDowell our Justice minister is still in the job.

The American government scares the hell out of me especially right now. I dont agree with what they do and all I can do is cast a vote that really doesnt count.
