i prefer candle light coz it looks more nice and romantic.

if its a romantic setting then yes candles but if u need to work / read then electric. but i also love oil lamps. we had them when i was a kid.i just have an image in my head of our little house out the county, sittng in the kitchen by the oil lamp playing cards with my granddad and a moth beating against the window

I prefer low lights. Candle light is nice and scented candles make the room smell really nice. But they don't last very long. So on the other hand low lights can be nice also.

I love candle light because it gives a sexy glow and it is more romantic and intimate. Only electric light if the lights have dimmers.

Candle light is a lot more subtle and soothing, I should say.
