Is it possible for a UK registered company to open an Italian Bank Account (or any other EU country bank account)

Yes it is. All countries in the EU have similar identification requirements, although the forms you have to sign will be slightly different. They cannot refuse you a bank account just because you're from the UK.

yes , i live in malta and many uk companies have an account in maltese banks
