The best you can do there is just tell them NO, and that you are not ready to share that part of your life with them as yet. You like living alone and don't want to change right now...

I have been going thru this for the past 2 months. But my problem was worse, they were actually living with me.

If you dont want someone to live with you, you better let them know FAST because once they are in your contract you are F U C K E D. Excuse my language but its true.

I had this girl with me and things werent working out, when I wanted to throw her out- I couldnt. Why? Because her name was on the damn contract! I was stuck with her for my year lease. Thankfully, she understood that we didnt want her there anymore after we talked and she moved out and we remain friends. Better now that she doesnt live with us.

But then someone took over her room and he's worse than the girl. We just told him 2 days ago that he had to go. Thankfully, I was smart enough to not put him on the lease so NO more headache for me.

I have decided... NO MORE ROOMATES. F*** that! Its TOO much trouble!

PLEASE dont make a HUGE mistake. Let them know RIGHT now because if not, you WILL regret it. Trust me, I know.

GOOD LUCK :D

There is no way that they will not be disappointed if they were thinking this was going to happen so, the best way is to say that you have been thinking about this move and you have realized that it would not be the best move for either of you. They will push to try to cover the obstacle but, just politely say no.

Tell them you don't think it would be possible, you don't have very much room, you are never home and you really need your own space b/c you get a lil cranky!

Slimply make it clear that you value your independence, and feel that moving in together would spoil your great relationship.
OR, say that your rental facility doesnt allow it.
