Red fox fur has gone down in value due to abundance of supply. Fox farms are still pretty big and fox fur is more common than many people would have you belive.

Still, as a vintage item it should still fetch a decent amount.
Be sure the fur is full (not patchy), viberant and shiny. tugging very softly and gently on the fur should not result in shedding.

If its sheds easily. The fur has become too brittle/dry with age and you probably won't be able to get as much for it.

Try checking Ebay. Jackets tend to sell for more. A fling and a collar sold in a set might get around $100 depending on proper selling techniques, detailed photos, and quality of items. Average pr item possibly between 20-50

Fur nowadays seems to be a faux pas now, especially with the PETA movement.

If you were looking to sell it, I would estimate you could get about 25-50 dollars.

The market trend for people who do still buy furs is that most do not bother with vintages. They go straight for Brand New.

Unfortunately these aren't very valuable because there are just so many of them out there. These items were considered the height of fashion and most women had them so they're not rare. Just take a look on eBay, you'll see plenty of them, most going for less than 20.00.
