None of them will give you a straight answer.
I bet each one of them will insult you instead of trying to explain their position.
Liberals are so wrong with their ideas that they've twisted themselves into the most untenable positions.

Okay - two seperate issues in one. Shiny
1.
A bunch of cells is not a child - it's a foetus. Until the 19th century even the Catholic Church didn't believe life began at conception, but when you first felt a baby move at approx 16 and a half weeks (so that's a couple thousand years of believing this).
2.
If you could guarantee that ONLY the guilty would be executed, then maybe more would be in favour. However when you get a class of Montana high school kids proving that 19 people on one death row were completely innocent, do you wonder why many of us have a wee problem with the whole death penalty thing? (Not withstanding the obvious strangeness of "we're going to show that killing people is wrong by killing them")
If you're pro-death penalty, you're not pro-life, just anti-abortion.
Oh - actually, 3rd issue. Why is the phrase "liberal" considered an insult anyway? In the dictionary, the definition of liberal is "free from prejudice or bigotry; tolerant" and "open-minded". I would have thought the average person would want to be free from prejudice and open minded?

I am very Liberal I'm also Catholic. Big conflict there. My father Godl love him spends every Thursday AM in front of abortion clinic peacefully holding sign. He ask me many times 2 join him I aways turn him down. I would love 2 spend time with my dad.. but feel 2 hypocritical 2 b preaching what some one should do under circumstances I know nothing about.
Now my dad on the other hand opposed to say moralizing neocons....actually allows any girl that changes mind a room in family house most eleven kids are on own now...He pays 4 all diapers formula anything and everything. So he is not hypocrite. Republican only seem 2 care from conception 2 birth. Then by God u better not expect help feeding child u said u not able 2 afford they force u 2 have.

As a liberal, and especially as a man, I just believe that abortion is not my business or the business of the government. It would be great if there were no more abortions. But I, the government, and you are in no position to say that someone cannot do that. Until you are in the same position as a woman who sees no other way to go than to have an abortion, this is between her and her doctor. It's sad, but you can't tell people what to do, and you can't just say that every situation of abortion should be banned.

Conservatives, why do you defend and advocate the killing of innocent Iraqi civilians? As in men, women and children. I defend a woman's right to have an abortion or not because I believe that for any rational person that choice would have to be traumatic and painful enough without having to clear it with the religious right.

Wow! Your argument just shows how close-minded "many" of you Conservatives can be. Notice I didn't say "all".
Still kind of sucks to have generalized statements made about you by a stranger even with a disclaimer included, huh?
You should think before you type.

Why don't you conservatives protect our troops in Iraq? Are they not innocent too? Why dont you raise minimum wage in the USA so our children don't starve? Abortion is a sad and difficult decision to make, I don't necessarily think it is right, but I won't condemn a person who makes that choice until I am in their shoes.

The unborn are a sacrifice to our demonic god. The criminals we protect are the deacons of our church.
That's the answer you wanted to hear, isn't it?
There ARE bigger issues in the world than this...

if you're pro-life, why do you support state sponsored murder? how many innocent, living, conscious people have been killed by the state while you whine about fetuses being killed? can you not see the contradiction in your position? is it better to kill a full grown human than a developing one?
