We are TTC our second baby. I have been using fertility friend this month, however, I haven't been the greatest with the temps, taking them about 9am, after I have been up for a hour or so, sometimes erlier, but with a 2 year old, I sometimes forget until after I take care of his morning needs. Anyways, I am pretty sure my ovulation was between the 31st of act and november 5. We did every other day, pillow prop, and I think the cm was right, but on my chart it does not show ovulation. It say probable ovulation was in that time, however, my temps don't indicate it. Do you think its just because I wasn't totally consistant with it, or am I not pregnant. My pre ovulation temps were in the 97s with the exception of 2 days I had a fever, and now they are in the 98s. Thoughts, gut feelings???? We have been trying for 3 months, and got pregnant with our son fairly easily. Thanks.

Yeah you have to make sure you do it at the same exact time everyday before you even get out of bed. So its just not working right for you. But dont worry. I got pregnant right away with my first 3 kids and then this year I did that fertility friend thing , etc and It took me 5 months to conceive. I say just forget about that stuff. Know when your ovulation is just by getting to know your period, and using ovulation calendars. I finally gave up on all that stuff and just learned to tell when I was ovulating by the CM, etc and I got pregnant right away after that.

Charting with just temperature is difficult and confusing..... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

You are supposed to take your temperature first thing in the morning; pretty much as soon as you open your eyes. Don't get out of bed to go pee, don't do anything before you take your temp. That's the only way to get an accurate read. Another way to determine when you're ovulating is to check your discharge. It's pretty obvious because the discharge is quite different when you're ovulating than when you're not. i.e. Clear and runny.
If you're serious about conceiving (and it sounds like you are) be diligent in taking your temperature and keep an eye on your discharge. Good luck!

you never know, it could be where you took your temp at diff. times. However you could have also ovulated at a diff. time for no reason. Sometimes you will ovulate at weird times. I know its hard to wait but sometimes it takes longer than 3 months to get pregnant. It took me 8 months and trying when I was supposed to ovulate. Dont worry it will happen. Good Luck and have fun trying.

You have to take your temp before you get out of bed. Otherwise there is no accuracy. Keep your chart (or a piece of paper) and your thermometer beside the bed . Set your alarm to wake you before you toddler gets up if you need to. Good luck....2 is so much fun!!

From what I've heard, if you stop trying, you will get pregnant. At the very least, do your best to be relaxed about it and I'm sure it will most likely happen. Good Luck!
