Alt Coffee, 139 Avenue A, between St Marks and 9th (right across from Tompkins Square Park) 7:30-1AM Mon-Fri, 9:30-1AM Sat-Sun

It's the East Village so it can be noisy sometimes but it can be nice if you need a change of scenery. They are an internet cafe with their own compuer room in the back but the Wi-Fi is free if you bring a laptop. If you're there all day, every day and never buy coffee they'll eventually get annoyed. They may even have a time limit now. They don't allow people to use their power outlets anymore so don't even ask if you can plug anything in.

I will be greatly surprised if Metro Manila coffee shops/stores would not be at par with those with other Asian cities. And I am almost sure but do not quote me on this that all those stores that have wifi in the other major cities would also have them in Manila. I think with a little bonus too as the prices would probably be cheaper there comparatively.
