Solve for y by adding 7y to both sides, subtracting 14 from both sides and then dividing both sides by 7. To graph it, you know it's a straight line so just get a few points and draw a line through it. For example, once you solve for y, plug in x=0, x= 7, x = 14 and you will get your y values at that point. To double check, you can plug x and y back into your original equation and after some math you will get 14 = 14.

another way is to make a chart

x | y
0 | -2
4.6 | 0 3

(0)-7y=14
-7y=14
/-7 /-7
y=-2

3x-7(0)=14
3x=14
/3 /3
x=4.6

then graph the x and the y

First you need to get y by itself. (3x-14)/7=y
Then you can put the equation in to a graphing calculator.
If you don't have one, just put in some values for x and figure what y equals

when x=0 y=-2
when y=0 x=14/3
plot these two points and run a line through these
