If you believe that life begins at conception, then it would be murder. If on the other had you think that at conception all that is there is a blob of cells, then that is not murder.
As for me, if I were ever impregnated, I would have a life growing at the moment of conception. If anyone were to kill it, it would be murder. I wouldn't have an abortion because to me, it is murder
Each woman has to decide for HERSELF what it is for her. Since some people do see nothing but a blob of cells, well for that woman, she doesn't see anything wrong with abortion. I think that we should keep out of woman's pants and reproduction issues and let the individual decide for herself when it comes to this issue. This should never have been an issue for public policy.

It is definitely murder. "dkstringer" says that it is a woman body so it is her decision. I would claim that since we have discovered how DNA can distinquish between one person and another, and the fact that the fetus has a different DNA than it's mother or father, that in fact the fetus is NOT part of the woman's body and is in fact a separate individual. This is "proven" by the science that liberals are so much in favor of pushing. Science is ok when attempting to push evolution, but is not ok when defending abortion. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!

I do not believe that abortion is murder.
Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being. A fetus is not a human being - a fetus is a potential human being - but not, under the law, a full human being. And, it is ridiculous to award a fetus the same rights as a full human being.

I think a womans body is her own buisness.
EDIT...YES BUBBA...lets have an argument about science..I do it for a living...
So..the fetus has it's own DNA...well so do cancer cells..Cancer cells have mutant DNA...by your logic thats a life. They're human cells with different DNA living inside the body. So when you get cancer don't take any medicine because you're killing a cell with unique DNA.
More over...sure different DNA...great....but completely unviable without the mother. I'm all for getting rid of late term abortions except in extreme situations like rape, incest or the health of the mother. However...since embryos arnt' viable till about 7 months...it's up to the woman to decide whether she wants it or not. Just because it has it's own DNA doesn't mean that it can survive.
And the little evolution comment at the end of your rant was cute to...since one thing has absolutely nothing to do with the other.
So please...Bubba...when you get cancer...please respect that unique "life" (by your own definition) and avoid medical care.

I don't think so. And, if it was considered murder, wouldn't all these guys who are the fathers and who want women to have abortions so they won;t have to support their kids be accessories to murder?
The solution, better education and more accssible contraceptives.

All I know is that I think that the woman in question should make the difficult decision and not the government.

It's more than that -- it's STATE SANCTIONED MURDER. The same people who are whining about our current President building a fascist regime and committing genocide stand behind "My body, my choice" when it comes to abortion. What's wrong with this picture?
