obsession/infatuation is when it is all in your mind, it is all you can think about you daydream continually, none if it is real. Love is when you can let your partner be themselves and not in your made up world

Well for s tarters, neither obscession nor infatuation is "love" Not just apples and oranges different, but chalk and cheese different.. Not just that, obscession and infatuation are not even the same thing. An infatuation is a very strong a ttraction for another person that is often shallow and unrealistic and is, in fact, not even based on anything connected to real "love" But it is usually also not "dangerous", and does not result in the infatuated person going around doing things that make the life of his or her "victim" uncomfortable and miserable. Whereas an Obscession with another person is often all of those latter things, and can very easily slide downhill into some dangerously physical behaviours. Infatuations are not "mentally abberant" Obscessions v ery much are that.
As for how you "get rid of" either an infatuation or an obscession, that depends on a lot of factors concerning the personality and character of the person who has either of them. A simple infatuation is likely to "dissolve" by itself given time. An obscession can often grow and develop till it can even end in some physical act that spills over into an actual criminal behaviour.
If you are the one with either of these, you will very probably be able to recognise, from these definitions, which one it is you are suffering from. In which case I would strongly a dvise you to get some professional help, esp;ecially if it is an obscession.

Obsession - An irrational compulsion. something controlled via your understanding on account which you think of you % it/him yet you easily do no longer. Infatuation - a non everlasting love placement. This love is barely non everlasting. no longer easily love. A recreation. actual love - the best variety of admiration for a guy or woman/factor. considered organic and completely genuine. emotions which at the instant are not in accordance with lust or something the different guy or woman/factor would supply you.

Obsession I question. Infatuation to me is admiring what you see in someone yet knowing in your heart you will never have them. Love is simply sweet surrender. Knowing you are secure and loved. To elaborate. Why would you want to stop feeling infatuated. Look within as to why you feel as you do. Something is missing. Noone wants to worry about a fatal attraction. That is so not cool!

When you truly love someone you want them to be happy. This is the case even when your not what makes them happy. Obsession is when all you want is them in your life, weather its good for them or not. If you have a question about which it is, its probably obsession/infatuation.

Obsession: desires that overwhelm normal thought
Infatuation: shallow and thorny, based on looks and or possessions, doesnt last and feels pretty intense.
Love: deep, slow burning feeling of doing what makes the other happy even if it means walking away.
