Edit- this must be a production board, with onboard serial ports. I'm a distributor, I just don't see that Intel is making them anymore.

Neither Intel nor any manufacturer I am aware of still makes MB with more than 1 serial port, and many have none.

Only solution in "new" production is to add a serial port plug in card.

serial port is ageing hardware and on its way to joining the floppie drive. I would try looking under industrial equipment. That may be still in use.

what type of motherboard, you can always get an add-on serial card, or if you wish to connect serial devices, you can always get a usb - serial adapter. I use one for cisco switches/routers/firewalls and they work fine.
